William G. Whitby

William George Whitby, 64, of Emporia, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was the son of the late William Edward Whitby and Phyllis Lynch Whitby, and he was also preceded in death by a sister, Tammy.

William is survived by his brother, Rodney Roger Whitby (Michele Gleason Whitby) of Skippers; sister, Nancy Whitby Eads of Hansonville, Virginia and niece, Christina Taylor (Zach Taylor) of Rosedale, Virginia.

His favorite pastime was hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Memorial services and interment will be private.
