Wayne Owen

C. Wayne Owen, Jr., 46, of Washington, D.C., passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Luby and Richie Chandler and paternal grandparents, Clayton and Charlotte Owen.

Wayne is survived by his parents, Curt and Mary Anne Owen of Stony Creek, Virginia; his brother, Jonathan Owen of Jacksonville, Florida; his aunts, Judy Barnes and Judy Collins (Wallace); and his uncle, Luby Chandler (Sue).  He is also survived by his cousins and their families, Lauren Jernigan (Roland), Trey Hardy, David Barnes, Terri Murray, Karen Dunn (Boyce), Lue Chandler (Amber), Crystal Brown (Ryan), and his loving DC family.

A graveside service will be held in his memory at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Owen Family Cemetery on Andrews Road, Stony Creek, Virginia.
