Steven "Moose" House

Steven ‘Moose’ House, 54, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine “Cookie” House and his brother, Lee House.

Moose is survived by the love of his life, Amy Clement; his son, Steven House, II; his father, Percy Lee House, Jr.; his sister, Bonnie House Ransone (Randy); and his niece, Garnette Maxine Ransone.

Along with his family, Moose will be greatly missed by more friends than anyone could ever hope to have. From his time with the Greensville Volunteer Fire Department to his time spent with the Muddy Water Riding Club, Moose has touched many lives. It seems as though everyone in town has a funny story and a good memory to share about Moose.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 25, at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 26.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Greensville Volunteer Fire Department, 209 Halifax St. Emporia, VA 23847.
