Stephen Rawlings "Steve" Owen

Stephen Rawlings Owen, 75, of Prince George, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born October 2, 1943 to the late Rawlings and Dorothy Owen of Jarratt, Virginia. Steve was a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and retired from the Virginia State Health Department as an environmental Health Manager. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Steve is survived by his son, Matthew Owen; a sister, Daphne O. Horner (Sonny); nephew, K. G. Horner, III (Melissa); and great-niece, Olivia.
A graveside service will be held1p.m. Friday, November 16 at High Hills Cemetery in Jarratt. Memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 472, Jarratt, Virginia 23867.
