Sherry Jackson Chappell

Sherry Jackson Chappell, 50, of Carson, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Joyce Jackson and a sister, Robin Jackson.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Kenny Chappell; son, Jackson “Jake” Chappell; stepson, Adam Chappell; brother, Ronnie Jackson (Shari Edwards); sister, Sissy Dunbar (Kenny) and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 20 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held graveside 2 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
