Sherri Presson Wells

Sherri Presson Wells, 56, of Emporia, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Presson and her brother, Randy Presson.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Shane Wells; two daughters, Ashley Hall (Jason R.) and Kristen Myrick (Jacob); son, Nicholas Wells (Lexie); four grandchildren, Greyson Hall, Drake R. Hall, Dalton Scott and Evie Lou Myrick; her mother, Beckey Presson; sister Sharron Runion and her beloved canine companion, Gus and all of her students at E. W. Wyatt Middle School whom she loved and considered as family.

The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m. Sunday, June 4 at Greensville Elementary School Auditorium followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Greensville Volunteer Rescue Squad or Greensville Volunteer Fire Department or to Lifestar Ambulance Service in Emporia.
