Sherba "Polly" Justice Wyatt

Sherba “Polly” Justice Wyatt, 84, of Emporia, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wyatt; parents, Woodrow and Elsie Coreen Justice; and her brothers Gene “Joe” Justice and Albert Hammer Justice.

She was a great cook and loved her children and grandchildren.  Her favorite things to do were play her harmonica and write and sing her own songs.

Polly is survived by her sons, Danny Wyatt (Barbara) and Tommy Wyatt (Shelia); granddaughters, Danielle Wyatt Donovan (Brian) and Jessica Harrison; grandsons, David Wyatt (Lauren), Lance Wyatt (Kelli), and Austin Wyatt (Jill); great-granchildren Brayden and Elijah Wyatt, Sydney Wyatt, Bryn and Wyatt Donovan and Brooklyn Harrison; and siblings, Betty Phillips, Doc Justice, Annie Manning, and Bernie Justice.

The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Sunday, August 8 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia and immediately following, the graveside service will be held at the Independence United Methodist Church Cemetery.
