Sadie Taylor Jean

Sadie Taylor Jean, 82, of Emporia, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023.

She was preceded in death by three children, Edward Eugene Poarch, James C. Taylor and Jean Phillips and her parents W. Letcher and Ida Mae Taylor.

Sadie is survived by her three daughters, Cathy Grizzard, Barbara Howerton (Larry), Angela Wilson (Tim); her grandchildren, Christopher Grizzard, Timothy Wilson, Andy Poarch (Ashley), Amber Barbour (Brad), Amanda Doyle (Jordan), Dakota Hoggard (Gary), Thomas Howerton, Maverick Wilson, MaryBeth Diefert (Keith), Crystal Hitt (Michael), Randy Poarch; 22 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Peggy Harrell, Beckey Presson, Bonnie Wright (Mike) and Robert Taylor (Karen).

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Philadelphia United Methodist Cemetery.
