Roy W. Lewis

Roy W. Lewis, Sr., 88, of Stony Creek, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022.

A retired farmer and rural mail letter carrier, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet O. Lewis and his six older brothers and sisters.

Roy is survived by his daughter, Cindy L. Rath and husband, Jim; son, Roy W. Lewis, Jr. and wife Ann; five grandchildren, Justin Rath (Jennifer), Jon Travis Rath (Jenine), Jenna R. Brauer (Caleb), Nicholas Lewis (Leigh Ann) and Curtis Lewis (Kristin); twelve great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gale Titmus and a special close family friend, Patty G. Harper and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 19 at Sappony Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Winfield Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
