Ronald Coleman Stewart

Ronald Coleman Stewart, 85, of Emporia, formerly of Dunn, NC, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023. He was the son of the late Dallas Coleman Stewart and Penny Ann Bass Stewart and was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Stewart. He was an avid race fan and throughout life had followed and worked with various teams.

Mr. Stewart is survived by a daughter, Connie Moss (Roy); three grandchildren, Adam Byers (Kelly(, Cole Smith and Lee Smith; and a sister, Delois Stephenson and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 24 at First Christian Church, 427 Ruritan Dr., Emporia, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
