Rebecca Jarratt "Peaches" Allen

Rebecca “Peaches” Allen, 73, of Stony Creek, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mattie Jarratt and was also preceded in death by husband, James “Benton” Allen; her brother, Jesse “Dick” Jarratt and niece, Amy J. Chappell. Peaches is survived by her only daughter, Betty Jo Waddell and husband, Buck; her pride and joy, her only granddaughter, Harley Jo McHale and husband, Trevor; uncle, Jesse “Pete” Jarratt; sister-in-law, Betsy J. Jarratt and godson, Gary L. Vick, Jr. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 11 at Readville Baptist Church 20158 Princeton Rd, Stony Creek, Virginia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church social hall following the interment service.
