Milan Andrew Veliky

Milan Andrew Veliky, 77, was called to his eternal rest on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Veliky, Jr. and Anna Fetko Veliky and his brother, Daniel J. Veliky.

Milan is survived by his sisters, Helen Crickenberger of Emporia, Arlene Tiedje of Shelby Township, Michigan and sister-in-law, Louise Veliky and numerous nieces and nephews.

Milan was a graduate of Greensville County High School and earned an associate degree from Southside Virginia Community College. He was an active lifetime member of St. John The Baptist Lutheran Church in Emporia.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at St. John The Baptist Lutheran Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John The Baptist Lutheran Church, 1351 W. Atlantic St., Emporia, Virginia 23847.
