Mary Lou Harrington Krish

Mary Lou Krish was born on July 5, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY. She was the eighth child of nine children. She resided in Ohio for most of her adult life before moving to Emporia, Va. in 2019.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. She is survived by her husband, Don Krish, sisters Jan Lasal, Beth Knight, Norma O’Brien, Lanie Seymour (Lee, Jennifer, Jessica), and a brother, Ron Harrington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and a very dear neighbor and friend, Alphonza Powell.

Mary Lou was dearly loved by all that knew her. She cherished her family members dearly and always enjoyed family gatherings. She was an avid quilter/sewer. Her best talent was making sure everyone who knew her felt loved and cherished. Her second best talent was making delicious bakery items that everyone looked forward to. She will be missed by many family and friends.

A memorial will be held at a later date in her home town of Pekin, NY.
