Mary Flanagan

Mary Flanagan, 78, of Jarratt, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was the widow of Frank Flanagan and was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Louise Harrell.

Mary is survived by two sons, Fuzzy Flanagan (Stephanie) and Jimmy Flanagan (Tina) and a daughter, Kim Miska (Bob), seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Archer. She also is survived by her beloved canine companion, Vinnie.

A memorial service will be held 2p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a veteran’s charity of your choice.
