Lita Barrett Ridley

Lita Barrett Ridley, 81, of Stony Creek, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Jack" and Maud Ridley and a cousin, Thomas Hunt Rose, Jr.

Lita is survived by her cousins, Archer Rose and Virginia Rose Cherry and loving friends, James and Mable Robinson, Gregory, Kimberly, Cole and Luke Elder and her amazing caregivers, Sheri Fraser, Karen Titmus, Kelly Emmons, Jessica Garlic, Ashley Shifflett and Kim Winfield.

She attended St. Catherine's School and went on to attend William and Mary, majoring in English. She retired from Reynolds Metals after a career of over 30 years. She enjoyed reading, shopping and gardening especially after her retirement.

A private funeral service will be held graveside at the family cemetery in Stony Creek on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
