James Michael Jarratt

James Michael “Mike” Jarratt, 58, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: James “JB” (2010) and Mary Anne ( Bobbitt ) Jarratt (1985), and sisters: Sharon Ann Felton Story (2019), Bonnie Sue and Connie Sue Jarratt (1968). He is survived by siblings: Paige Casper and Lennie Jarratt, and in-laws: Lisa Jarratt and Wayne Story, along with nieces and nephews: Anna VanCleave (Jeffrey), Faith Lusch (Matthew), Robbie Casper, Jessie Story, and Parker VanCleave.

Mike leaves behind a legacy of love as he touched many lives with his kindness and special ability to remember nearly everyone he met. He graduated from Sussex Central High School in 1982. He participated in the Special Olympics, loved to sing, loved attending church, and loved to read the newspaper and tv guide. Since there will not be a service at this time partially due to Covid-19 restrictions, we would like to ask you to donate to the Special Olympics in his memory.
