Henry W. Covey

Mr. Henry W. Covey, 84, of Stony Creek, departed this earthly life on the morning of October 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Covey; two brothers and four sisters.

Mr. Covey is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Marian D. Covey; daughters, Cheryl Glass and Sonya Winfield; sons, Henry W. Covey, II (April) and Jason Covey (Melissa); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin Covey and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 18 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia 23867 where the family will receive friends 1 - 2 p.m. one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
