Grace Cannon Clark

Grace Cannon Clark, 86, widow of Bobby Clark, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Calvin Cannon Simmons, Kenneth Wayne Simmons and Sammy Dean Simmons; a daughter, Linda Frances Newsome; three grandchildren, Brandon Simmons, Jimmy Burnette and Willie Nelson Simmons; and sisters, Louise Morgan, Lillie Mae Johnson and Dorothy Myrick.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Tammie Jean Walker (Jerald); three sons, Donald Ray Simmons (Tammy), Billy Keith Simmons, Bruce “Booty” Simmons (Teresa); nineteen grandchildren, Waylon Jennings Simmons, Tabitha Chalkley (Anthony), Johnny Simmons, Jason Simmons, Josh Simmons, Emily Simmons, Cody Simmons (Stephanie), Kayla Simmons, Christopher Fajna, Jennifer Bane (Thomas), William Simmons (Sara), Daniel Simmons, Gavin Simmons, Taylor Richardson (Logan), Crystal Moore (Scotty), James Burnette (Alisia), Michelle Allen (Carl), Jesse Burnette and Christopher Lucas (Taylor); three sisters, Laura Drake (Darrell), Nancy Dudley (Mark) and Mildred Tuck; two brothers, Gordon Cannon (Evelyn) and Joe Cannon (Dorothy) 27 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday, January 19 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2025. Interment will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
