Frances Dunlow Scott

Frances Dunlow Scott, 85, of Emporia, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jack Scott, and two sons, Donald Lee Scott, and Lynn Scott and also a sister and three brothers.
Frances is survived by a daughter, Diane Nunnally and husband, David; two sons, Tommy Scott and William Scott; eight grandchildren, Tracy Bullock, Joey Scott, Jennifer Lozy, Scott Nunnally, Ashley Walker, Derica Donofrio, Michael Scott, and John Scott; eight great-grandchildren and a great-great- grandson; two sisters, Nettie Moseley and Ann Rook and husband, Donald; daughter-in-law, Betty Scott; a number of nieces and nephews; and her longtime dear friend, Hazel Conn.
The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends prior to the service 1:30 – 3 p.m. Interment will follow at Emporia Cemetery.
