Etta Leggett Harrup

Etta Marie Leggett Wheeler Harrup, 81, of Littleton, NC, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Elizabeth. Etta is survived by her son, Marvin Lee Wheeler, Jr.; daughter Sandra Gail Lockhart and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Shannon, Richard, John, Alisa, and Mya; two brothers, Donald and James Leggett; one sister, Hilda Bishop; brother-in-law, Ben Wheeler; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends any afternoon or evening at the home of her son, Marvin, 313 Allen Court Emporia, VA. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19 at Independence United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
