Elizabeth Sevier Zimba

After a two-year battle with colon cancer, Elizabeth Sevier Zimba, 90, of Chesterfield and Yale, Virginia passed away Friday, December 10, 2021. She will be joining her husband, Frank Zimba who has been looking down upon her since his death 5 years earlier.
She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Frank Zimba MD and wife Karen of Cooperstown, NY, and Dr. Paul V. Zimba of Chester, Virginia; three grandchildren, David, Heather and Megan Zimba. She was preceded in death by a son, Neil William Zimba.
A celebration of life including visitation with family and friends will be held 1:30-3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia. Interment beside her husband in Syracuse , NY is planned for June 2022.
