Eddie was a man with many passions. Eddie’s Small Engine of Stony Creek was where he used his talent to repair many types of engines. His largest passion other than his family was Fire and Safety. While owning and operating Eddie’s Small Engine he was a devoted member of Stony Creek Vol. Fire Department; he also served there as Fire Chief for 14 years. Eddie went on to serve in this passion as the first ever Public Safety Coordinator of Sussex County. He served his county for 16 years, even after he began his battle with Cancer. While known for being a man that followed the rules, Eddie will be remembered as a devoted man of service to his community. Among his passions, he was also an avid hunter and fisherman with a true love for the outdoors. Eddie also enjoyed the peace he found when riding his motorcycle.
The family would like to thank his caregiver Victoria and hospice nurse Brittany for the care they provided during his journey.
