Dwight L. Wrenn

Dwight L. Wrenn, 79, of Emporia, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was the son of the late Robert L. and Helen D. Wrenn, and he was also preceded in death by a half-brother, Andrew Wrenn and his best friend, Wade Lucy.

Dwight is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanette A. Wrenn; daughter, Julia Wrenn (Kennon); two sons, Lane Wrenn (Erica) and Dustin Wrenn (Ashley); four grandchildren, Blake Lee (Morgan), Shay Wrenn (Cole), Mayzie Wrenn and Emersyn Wrenn; three sisters, Viola Giordano, Joyce Mercer (Buddy) and Gwendolyn Rinker; half-brother, Bobby Wrenn; half-sister, Mary Emma Gay and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 31 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1. Interment will follow at Fountain Creek Baptist Church.
