Dwight Edwards

Irvin Dwight Edwards, 70, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024.

He was the son of the late George Briggs Edwards and Louise Williams Edwards and he was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven Wayne Edwards and his wife’s parents Rufus Henry Bradley and Margaret P. Bradley.

He was a lifelong member of Adams Grove Baptist Church and retired from VDOT as an inspector.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Gail B. Edwards; two sisters, Connie Louise Edwards-Malosky (Paul) and Stacy Lynn Edwards, an uncle, Robert William Edwards and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29. Interment will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
