Dorothy Cannon Myrick

Mrs. Dorothy Cannon Myrick, 79, of Emporia, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Dorothy Myrick is survived by her children, Homer Myrick (Jane), Joseph Myrick (Deborah), Lillian Jones (Raleigh), Agnes Whitehead (Jimmie), and Rhonda Myrick; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and her canine companion, “Tiny”.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment followed at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
