Dora H. Doyle

Mrs. Dora H. Doyle, 95, of Emporia, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Elwood Doyle and a granddaughter, Ellen Proffitt.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. An active lifelong member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, who loved the Lord, gardening, reading and walking.

Mrs Doyle is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Doyle Pollard (Larry), Kay Traylor, Julie Coker (Ron) and Rhonda Walker (Tony); seven grandchildren, Eric Pollard (Brandy), Clay Pollard (Vivian), Stephanie Pollard, Amanda Smith (Lamar), Leah Robinson (Justin), Jenna Walker and Claire Walker and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 22 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
