David Pair

David E. Pair, 54, of Blacksburg, formerly of Emporia, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 17, 2022. He was the son of the late Stanley N. Pair and was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Pair.

David spent the majority of his career with the IT Department at Virginia Tech.

David is survived by his mother, Peggy O. Pair and numerous cousins.

A memorial service to honor both David and his father, Stanley will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 25 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emporia/Greensville Humane Society.
