Cecil G. Seaborn, Jr.

Cecil Guy Seaborn, Jr, 73, of Jarratt, VA passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 19, 2024 at his home.

Cecil was born April 24, 1951 to Cecil G. Sr. and Gertrude (Williams) Seaborn. He was the youngest of 3 children.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Gertrude Seaborn and sister Martha Seaborn Ray.

Cecil was a graduate from Virginia Tech with a degree in finance. He loved hunting and fishing when he was able to go.  He worked hard up to the time of the illness.

He is survived by his children, daughter Brooke Elias (Joe); son Beau Suttles (Bobbie Jo), and son Sean Karnes, five grandchildren Hayley Smith, Hannah Elias, Luke Elias, Addison Suttles, Colton Suttles and two great-grandchildren Hayden and Marlee Smith; sister Peggy Ellis; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd in Jarratt, VA where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
