Betty M. Norfleet

Mrs. Betty M. Norfleet, 76, of Stony Creek, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Blair Alexis Padgett, three brothers, Bobby McCormick, Billy McCormick and Archie McCormick and his wife, Patricia.

Mrs. Norfleet is survived by her husband, Abe Norfleet; daughter, Sherry Padgett (Michael); grandchildren, Hunter Padgett and Brianna Padgett; two sisters, Irene Grant (Russell) and Jerry Bowe (David); brother, Kenny McCormick and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
