Benjamin Veliky

Benjamin “Uncle Benny” Veliky, 85, widower of Erma Jean Veliky, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017. He was the son of the late John and Anna S. Veliky and was also preceded in death by three brothers, John Veliky, Jr. , Paul Veliky and Charlie Veliky. He is survived by two sons, Tony Veliky and wife, Betsy and Stewart Veliky; daughters, Connie Marshall and husband, Michael and Wanda Dunlow and husband, Clinton; grandchildren, Crystal Jones and husband, Danny, Cyndal Perkins, Heather Veliky, Andrea and Lance Marshall, Eric and Leslie Veliky and Brooke and Blake Dunlow; three great-grandchildren, Zoe, Ryleigh and Bryant, a sister, Margaret Dianis and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 22 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 23 at St. John Lutheran Church with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
