Mary Jane Ricketts Jarratt

Mary Jane Ricketts Jarratt, 73, of Yale, widow of William “Jo Boy” Jarratt, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Deste Jarratt Cox and fiancé, Robbie Francis; grandson, Jordan Cox; son, Benji Jarratt and fiancée, Hope Pittman;; three sisters, Bertie M. Warf and husband, Bill, Harriet H. Gray and Myra A. DePanicis and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Charles L. Ricketts, Sr. and Hazel Barney Ricketts and her sister, Marjorie Ricketts Ramsch and her brother, Charles L. Ricketts, Jr. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 31 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. Funeral services and interment will be private.
