Wilbur Thornton Lewis, Jr.

Wilbur Thornton “Butch” Lewis, Jr., 67, of McKenney, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. He was preceded in death by a son, Stacy Allen Lewis and a sister, Debbie Bain. He is survived by one son, Joseph T. Lewis; brother-in-law, Johnny Bain and also Butch’s reunited high school sweetheart, Sherry T. Fraunfelter. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
