Kenneth Parker Collins, Sr.

Kenneth P. Collins, Sr., 45, of Carson, widower of Leigh Briggs Collins, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Parker Collins and a brother, Barry Collins. Survivors include two daughters, Samantha Anne Briggs, Amanda Leigh Collins; one son, Kenneth P. Collins Jr., five grandchildren, Trey Moore, Dixie Moore, Ryleigh Moore, Aiden Moore and Dylan Moore; his father, Lawrence E. Collins. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
