Sallie Mary Turner

Sallie Mary Turner, widow of Jack P. Turner, passed away at the Bloom Retirement Center on December 22, 2015 at the age of 98. A lifelong resident of Greensville County, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane T. Stanley; granddaughter, Chris Stanley and son-in-law, The Reverend Jerry Stanley. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Turner and wife, Liz; grandchildren, Ginger and Andrew. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Lila Lee Turner and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at Greensville Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bloom Retirement Center Activity Fund, 308 Weaver Ave, Emporia, Virginia 23847.
