Roger Clements

Roger Clements, 78, of Yale, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Carol Clements; daughter, Elaine Finn; three stepsons, Harry Messenger and wife, Sheryl, Stephen Messenger and Raymond Messenger and wife, Lisa; two grandchildren, Haley and Jordan; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Lamb; two brothers, Billy Joe Clements and wife, Meredith and Bobby Earl Clements and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Helping Hands, c/o of Faith Community Church, P.O. Box 1341, Sussex, Virginia 23884.
