Fredericka W. "Ricci" Sturt

Fredericka W. “Ricci” Sturt of Jarratt, Virginia was called to rest peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 4, 2015. She was born on January 6, 1950 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fredericka Sturt. She attended Matawan High School, Matawan, NJ and graduated in 1968.
Ricci was a member of High Hills Baptist Church, Jarratt, Virginia where she was a youth group leader and a member of the choir. She was employed with the Greensville Corrections Center until her health failed.
She was dedicated to playing cards with several groups and cherished their friendship.
Ricci was preceded in death by her parents and son, Elijah Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Corie Davis Turner (Lennie); three grandchildren, Kailee, Kevin “J.R.”, and Xavier, all of Emporia; brother, David Sturt of Matawan, NJ; devoted friends, Beth Blalock of Colonial Heights, VA; Judy Houchins of Jarratt, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 7 at Ricci’s home in Jarratt.
