Benjamin Wayne "Ben" Gordon, Jr.

Ben Gordon, Jr, 36, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. He is survived by his parents, Ben Gordon, Sr. and Alice “Cookie” Gordon; sister, Mary Gordon Velvin; nieces, Dawn Hibbard and husband, Philip and Brooke Velvin; beloved great niece and great nephew, Emily and Jonathan Hibbard and a large extended family of uncles, aunts and cousins. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 1 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to assist the family with final arrangements.
