Ruth Tudor Collins

Ruth Tudor Collins, 88, of Emporia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, to reunite with loved ones in her eternal home. She was the daughter of the late Sidney A. and Lilly Mae Tudor and was also preceded in death by her husband, Cato L. Collins and all of her siblings. Mrs. Collins is survived by her son, L. Dennis Collins and wife, Jo Ann; her daughter, Linda C. Long and husband, Victor; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 1 at Zion Baptist Church with interment to follow at Round Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at church one hour prior to the service In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Zion Baptist Church, c/o Cliff Rodgester, 654 Johnson Rd, Emporia, Virginia 23847.
