Dorothy Key Finney “Dot” Hall, 88, of Jarratt, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, George Allen “Mike” Hall, Jr., she was a loving wife, devoted mother, magnificent grandmother and was dedicated to all children and church. She is survived by her sister, Helen Virginia Finney; six daughters, Judy Parker and husband, Tommy, Joan Nichols and husband, Bill, Connie Grissom, Cathy Lewis and husband, David, Anita Anderson and husband, John and Allison Kindred and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Michael Parker, Amy Cumbey, Jaime Poole, Randy Lewis, Amanda Lipscomb, Matt Anderson, Eric Anderson and Adam, Trevor, Seth and Colin Kindred; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Emma and Aidan Parker, Kelsey Paciocco, Alexandra Cumbey, Kara Beth and Kamryn Poole, Rachel Lewis, Hunter Lipscomb and Zaire Carter; one great-great-grandson, Cruz Paciocco. The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia with interment to follow at High Hills Cemetery.
