William "Billy Ray" Cifers

William “Billy Ray” Cifers, 41, of Emporia, a former human resources manager at Boarshead Provisions, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. He is survived by a brother, Frank Cifers and wife, Michelle; sister, Jennifer Castro; 5 nieces; 5 nephews; 2 step-nieces; a step-nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his feline companion, “Fruity B”. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
