Clarence Wesley “Jimmy” Poole, 76, widower of Diane Poole, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Whitman Poole; three daughters, Amy Wachsmann, Kim Allen and Sherry Poole; two stepsons, Timothy Wayne Peterson and Jerry Lane Peterson, a stepdaughter, Amy Sue Horne Chambliss; eleven grandchildren, John, Brad and Elizabeth Wachsmann, Hannah, Sam and Alison Allen, Alexis Lyle, Anna White, Aaliyah Lyle, Ashleigh Robinson and Bryan Small, twelve stepgrandchildren, Timothy Wayne Peterson, Jr., Elizabeth Peterson, Stormie Peterson, Destiny Peterson, Jesse Skeens, Crystal Chambliss, James Chambliss, Jr., Carlie and Kaylin Small; Kevin Wayne Chambliss, Shannon Souva and Archie Steve “Stevie” Horne and ; a brother, William Boyd Poole and two sisters, Helen Gibson and Gail Moore. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov 14 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax St, Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 15 at Emmanuel Worship Center, 4910 E. Atlantic St., Emporia, Virginia. Interment will follow at Winfield Family Cemetery.
