Erma Jean Veliky

Erma Jean Veliky, 71, of Emporia, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin “Benny” Veliky; her children, Tony Veliky and wife, Betsy, Connie Marshall and husband, Michael, Stewart Veliky, and Wanda Dunlow and husband, Clinton; her grandchildren, Crystal Jones and husband, Danny, Cyndal Perkins, Heather Veliky, Andrea and Lance Marshall, Eric and Leslie Veliky and Brooke and Blake Dunlow; her brothers and sisters, Louise Phillips, Milton “Preacher” Prince and wife, Nellie, Bernice Phillips and Ethel Allen. Mrs. Veliky was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lelia Prince and was also preceded in death by four brothers and sisters, James Prince, Virginia “Meg” Banner, Shirley Allen and Herman “Billy Buck” Prince, Sr. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 23 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd in Jarratt. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 24 at St. John the Baptist Lutheran Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
