James "Jimmie" Kitchen

James “Jimmie” Kitchen, 66, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Linda G. Kitchen; son, James Wade Kitchen and wife, Vickie; granddaughter, Madison Rose Kitchen; a brother, Clyde kitchen and wife, Shelby; two sisters, Anita Jarratt and husband, C. D. and Faye Francis and sister-in-law, Janie Kitchen; two brothers-in-law, Steven Finch and wife, Myra and Tony Finch. Jimmie was the son of the late Owen and Virginia Kitchen and was also preceded in death by a sister, Ann Scarboro and three brothers, Waverly, Donnie and Herman Kitchen, Sr. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 15, at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 16. Entombment at Greensville Memorial Cemetery will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
