Charlotte Floyd Seymour

Charlotte Floyd Seymour, 85, fondly known as “Grandma”, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, M. L. and Leslie Floyd and numerous beloved brothers and sisters. She was also preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Monica Blaire Seymour. Mrs. Seymour is survived by her children, Garland Lee Seymour, Jr. and wife, Lanie; Linda S. Carneal, Brenda Seymour, William “Tommy” Seymour and wife, Kim, Mary S. Kinker and Ricky Wayne Seymour and wife, Katie; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and two sisters, Mildred Bradley and Alease F. Pair. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 9 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt. Interment will follow at Independence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30. P.M.
