Margaret E. Cifers

Margaret E. Cifers, 91, of Emporia went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, July 20, 2013. She loved the Lord and wanted everyone to know him as their Saviour. She was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Cifers, Sr. She is survived by a son, David W. Cifers, Jr. and daughter, Yvonne C. Lynch (Efride); four grandchildren Nannette, Efride Lynch III (Emily), Yvette m. Brown (James), and John Lynch (Megan); three great-granchildren, Efride Lynch IV, John Walker Lynch, Jr., and Jack Brown; brother, Horace Edwards (Jessie) and sister, Dorothy Lassiter (R.T.); two sister-in-laws, Elsie Edwards and Margaret Edwards, and lots of special nieces and nephews. A special thanks to nurse Julie Warren and Hospice. A graveside service will be held 11a.m.Wednesday at Greensville Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gill Grove Baptist Church, 10726 River Rd. Chesterfield, VA 23838.
