Monica Blaire Seymour

Monica Blaire Seymour, 30, of Emporia, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013. She is survived by her parents, Ricky and Katie Seymour; paternal grandmother, Charlotte F. Seymour; aunts, Mary P. Jones, Linda S. Carneal, Brenda Seymour and Mary S. Kinker; uncles, Lee Seymour and wife, Lanie and Tommy Seymour and wife, Kim; Cousins, Wayne, Marybeth, Mark, Randy, Keith, Pam, Jennifer, Jessica, Susan, Michael, Tammy and Dennis and their familes along with her devoted canine companion, Kido. Monica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cecil V. and Jeannette Jones; paternal grandfather Garland Lee Seymour, Sr., uncle, Cecil V. Jones, Jr., aunt, Courtney J. Allen and cousin, Rebecca L. Allen. The family will receive friends at their home. A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11 led by Pastor Ken Arrington at Emporia Cemetery on Brunswick Ave.
