Mary Rebecca "Becky" Blackburn

Mary Rebecca “Becky” Blackburn, of Drewryville, died Saturday, January 19, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Skip Blackburn; two daughters, Sarah B. Jones and husband, Rick of Cary, NC and Dorothy “Beth” Worton of Laurel, MD; two grandsons, Isaac Wise and Jackson Worton; five brothers, Bill Owen and wife, Ginger of Suffolk, Bobby Owen and wife, Linda of Portsmouth, Dr. Tom Owen and wife, Suzanne of Richmond, Wayne Owen and wife, Catherine of Atlanta, GA, Jim Owen and wife, Joan of Chesapeake and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church or Drewryville Womans Club or the Drewryville Ruritan Club.
