Walter A. Mills, Jr.

Walter A. Mills, Jr, 95, of Emporia, widower of Mary Hart Mills died Monday, December 24, 2012. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Jane Harrell and husband, Martin of Grizzard and Judy M. King and husband, Pete of Summerfield, NC; five grandchildren, Martin Francis Harrell, Jr. and wife, Stacy, Stuart Allan Harrell and wife, Jan, Mary Beth Poarch and husband, Brian, Kathryn King-Alexander (Richard) and William Esta King, Jr. and wife, Wendy; eleven great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Cabannis of Kenbridge. The family is especially grateful for the loving care given to Mr. Mills by caregivers Sally, Sadie and Cheryl. A special thank you to Dr. Mike Anderson. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
