Lucille Link

Lucille Turner Link, 75, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Katie Turner, and a brother, Lewis “Joe” Turner, Sr. She is survived by her children, Linda Link (Tommy) of Freeman, VA, Betty Slagle (David), Billy Link and James “Randy” Link (Sarah), all of Skippers, VA; two sisters, Bobbie Barnes (David) and Diane Huskey (Jimmy) of Emporia; three brothers, Cleveland Turner (Betty) of Norfolk, Bernard Turner (Bertha Ray) and Randall “Jimmy” Turner of Skippers; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Moore (Glenn), Rebecca Walton (Bobby), David ‘Davy” Slagle, III, Ashley Link, Evan Link, Daniel Link, Makenzie Link, Katie Turner (Travis); four great-grandchildren, Megan Moore, Ryan Moore, Trent Walton and Trevor Walton and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Greensville Memorial Cemetery led by Pastor Larry Grizzard. of Zion Baptist Church, Skippers, VA. Pallbearers will be nephews of Mrs. Link, Lewis “Joey Turner, Tommy Turner, Kenny Turner, Edward Turner, Chris Turner, Jim Huskey and Keith Turner
