Conrad Grizzard

Conrad E. Grizzard, 87, of Emporia, died Thursday, October 11, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret M. Grizzard. He is survived by one sister Effie Sue McAlexander, two brothers, James and John Walter Grizzard; four daughters, Connie Riddick (James), Susan Gillam (Curtis), Mary Conwell (Larry), and Deborah Myrick (Joseph); three sons, William, Donald (Donna) and Timothy Grizzard; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and three step grandchildren. Conrad was a member of Fountain Grove Baptist Church and was a loving husband and father The family will receive friends 6-8:30 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 303 South Halifax Rd, Jarratt, VA where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012. Interment will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
